My recent stay at Vanaga Ligzda, located just 30 kilometers from Riga amidst the serene landscapes of Baltezers, was a refreshing experience to welcome the New Year. The hotel's charming blend of fairy-tale coziness and modern minimalism offered a comforting retreat, with rooms that were not only immaculate but also offered stunning views of the surrounding pine forests. The highlight was undoubtedly the on-site restaurant, where the generous portions of freshly prepared dishes left us both satisfied and eager for more. After a delicious meal, my friends and I unwound in the hot tub on the landscaped terrace, a perfect setting to relax under the stars. For those visiting with families, the hotel's indoor playground and amenities like free baby beds made for a very welcoming atmosphere. Hotel staff were exceptionally accommodating, even providing us with ice when requested. Vanaga Ligzda is indeed a delightful spot for both relaxation and culinary indulgence, marking a memorable start to my year.
